Login for individual customers

Individual customers can log in with their username and password.

Activation of online subscription

Please click on "Log In" on the lefthand side of the screen. Go to the form for individual customers, fill in at least two fields (for example, your customer number and order number - often on the address label of your print issues), click on "Search for individual subscription", enter your e-mail and an arbitrary password (3 to 8 characters) and press "Activate individual subscription". The activation will be confirmed on screen. You can write down your username and password or print out the page.

Login for institutions

For institutions the access takes places by means of IP-filtering. This means that you are identified by your IP number and there will be no login with username and password. Ask your IT department for the IP address you are online with.

Activation of online subscription

Please click on "Log In" on the lefthand side of the screen. Go to the form for institutions, fill in at least two fields (for example, customer number and order number), click on "Search for institutional subscription", enter your e-mail and IP number(s).
If you have a single IP, please fill in the field "single IP". If you would like to cover an IP range (several IPs in sequence), you can enter a start IP and an end IP. The largest network you can define is a class-C network; larger networks will require a separate license agreement.
The activation will be confirmed on the screen.

Internet Explorer and PDF Files

The online fulltext is supplied in the form of PDF files. A problem with Internet Explorer 6 occasionally results in PDF files not loading correctly in the browser window - only the source code is visible, not the PDF file. If this happens, please close the window and try again by clicking on the link once more, as this often solves the problem. If the problem persists, we suggest you use a different version of Internet Explorer or a different browser. Similar problems do not arise, as far as we are aware, with Netscape 7.1 or with Internet Explorer 5.5 SP2.
